Five years after the heartfelt release of Dil Bechara, actress Sanjana Sanghi took to Instagram to commemorate the film's anniversary and pay an emotional tribute to her late co-star, Sushant Singh Rajput.
Originally released on July 24, 2020, Dil Bechara — an adaptation of the bestselling novel The Fault in Our Stars — marked Sanghi’s debut as a lead actress. Directed by Mukesh Chhabra, the film was initially intended for a theatrical release but was launched digitally on Disney+ Hotstar due to the COVID-19 pandemic, becoming one of the most-watched Indian films online.
On Thursday, Sanghi shared the film's poster on social media with a heartfelt message:
"Always was, always will be, the most magical. Thank you, for giving Dil Bechara and Kizie Basu a permanent home in your hearts. And for celebrating our film in the most special way, always. I am forever grateful. #5YearsOfDilBechara. Miss you Sush."
