In a powerful and deeply personal message, Bollywood icon Amitabh Bachchan has poured his heart out in praise of son Abhishek Bachchan, who recently completed an incredible 25 years in the film industry.
Taking to his blog on Saturday, the legendary actor shared an inspiring note, celebrating not just his son’s cinematic milestones — but also his relentless spirit.
“The essence of life is NEVER GIVE UP … fight till the very end,” wrote Amitabh. “You may win, you may lose… but at least you FOUGHT.”

Calling Abhishek “the pluckiest,” Big B emphasized that courage and consistency matter more than commercial wins. “The pluckiest loser has more respect than the so-called winner,” he added. “You have always compared yourself with yourself — not many can do that.”
The megastar's words reflect a father’s deep pride and admiration, as he urged Abhishek to keep moving forward. “They tell me you have done enough, sit back and relax. NO! Sitting back is a defeat of life — one should NEVER GIVE UP.”
Abhishek made his Bollywood debut in 2000 with Refugee opposite Kareena Kapoor Khan, and has since carved his own path in the industry. His most recent film, Housefull 5, released on June 6, continues his legacy as part of one of Bollywood’s biggest comedy franchises.
With praise like this from Amitabh Bachchan himself, it’s clear that Abhishek’s journey is far from over — and his best may be yet to come.
