In a bold move to eliminate the usual hassles of EV ownership, Kia India has rolled out a nationwide electric vehicle ecosystem featuring over 11,000 charging points, a digital-first ownership experience, and hundreds of EV-ready service centers—months before the Carens Clavis EV even hits the roads.
At the heart of this new EV push is K-Charge, Kia’s proprietary charging platform seamlessly integrated into the MyKia app. Developed in collaboration with 18 major Charge Point Operators, K-Charge provides users with access to a sprawling charging network across cities and highways. Whether you're headed to work or taking a cross-country road trip, Kia aims to ensure your journey stays fully powered.

Adding to the convenience, Kia’s EV Route Planner—available on both the app and website—lets users locate nearby chargers, check real-time availability, and pay in-app, ditching the need for multiple third-party charging apps.
But that’s not all. Kia has reinforced its physical footprint with more than 250 EV-ready workshops outfitted with specialized tools and trained technicians. Over 100 Kia dealerships now feature DC Fast Chargers (60kW to 240kW), enabling ultra-fast top-ups while you sip coffee in the showroom.
For homebodies and driveway chargers, Kia is offering robust home charging kits with 7.4kW and 11kW AC solutions—faster and more efficient than most options currently available in India’s mass-market EV segment.
Joonsu Cho, Chief Sales Officer of Kia India, emphasized the company’s long-term vision:
“With our comprehensive EV ecosystem now in place, we are empowering customers to experience electric mobility with ease and confidence. This strong foundation allows us to support the next wave of EV adoption across the country.”
And Kia’s ambitions don’t stop here. The automaker plans to expand its charging network to 20,000+ points by mid-2026, signaling its intent to dominate India’s fast-growing EV space.
With this sweeping initiative, Kia isn’t just launching a car—it’s launching a complete lifestyle shift for Indian EV drivers. From infrastructure and service to smart digital tools, the Carens Clavis EV is shaping up to be far more than just another electric SUV—it’s the gateway to Kia’s electrifying new era.
