Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has announced plans to acquire 100% of MHP Management- und IT-Beratung GmbH, Porsche AG’s Germany-based management and IT consulting subsidiary, for an enterprise value of €320 million. The acquisition is part of a broader five-year strategic partnership between TCS and Porsche valued at €1.25 billion. The transaction is expected to strengthen TCS’s presence in the global automotive technology and consulting market while giving Porsche access to expanded artificial intelligence and digital transformation capabilities.
MHP specialises in automotive and industrial consulting, with expertise spanning business transformation, artificial intelligence, SAP transformation, manufacturing digitalisation and software-defined mobility. The company employs around 4,500 people and recorded turnover of about €742 million in 2025. TCS will execute the acquisition through its wholly owned subsidiary, Tata Consultancy Services Netherlands B.V. The transaction remains subject to regulatory approvals and other closing conditions and is expected to be completed within three to four months.
The acquisition is closely linked to a five-year business partnership under which Porsche has committed €1.25 billion to TCS and MHP. The agreement will focus on deploying AI across Porsche’s engineering, manufacturing, operations and customer experience functions. It will also cover the development of next-generation automotive technologies and software-defined mobility platforms as the automotive industry increasingly shifts towards software, connected systems and AI-driven operations.

As part of the collaboration, TCS plans to establish a dedicated AI Mobility Centre of Excellence for Porsche. The centre will focus on turning AI applications into secure and scalable solutions across the automaker’s value chain. The partnership is expected to combine Porsche’s automotive engineering expertise with TCS’s capabilities in AI, product engineering, technology and business transformation. The companies aim to use these capabilities to improve operational resilience, accelerate innovation and support the development of software-driven mobility solutions.
For TCS, the deal represents a significant expansion of its automotive and European consulting capabilities. MHP has an established customer base and experience in complex automotive and industrial transformation projects, which could complement TCS’s global technology and engineering operations. The acquisition also gives TCS greater access to markets including Germany, Romania, the United Kingdom, the United States, India and Mexico through MHP and its subsidiaries.
The transaction comes as the global automotive industry undergoes major changes driven by artificial intelligence, electric vehicles, connected technologies and software-defined vehicles. Porsche has been restructuring its operations amid pressure from Chinese competition, tariffs and the rising costs associated with electric vehicles. For TCS, meanwhile, the partnership provides an opportunity to deepen its role in automotive technology at a time when traditional IT services are increasingly being reshaped by AI.
