Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has highlighted the achievements of the Congress-led government as the state prepares to mark three years in office with a major celebration event in Tumakuru. In a video message released ahead of the programme, the Chief Minister said the government has delivered on its promises and placed Karnataka on a path of comprehensive development through the implementation of its flagship welfare schemes.
Siddaramaiah said that before coming to power, the Congress party had drafted its manifesto under the leadership of state Home Minister G. Parameshwara, incorporating the “five guarantee” schemes aimed at improving welfare and social security. He stated that all five guarantees were implemented within the first year of governance, which, according to him, demonstrated the government’s commitment to fulfilling electoral promises.
The Chief Minister added that the success of these schemes has disproved criticism that they would strain the state’s finances. He said the programmes have been designed to ensure inclusive growth and provide direct benefits to citizens, reinforcing accountability and strengthening public trust in governance.

As part of the anniversary event, Siddaramaiah said the government will showcase development work undertaken across departments, including initiatives by the Revenue Department. He noted that services such as pouthi khata and Barakast podi have been prioritised, with around 1.40 lakh beneficiaries expected to receive property-related documents and other entitlements during the programme.
The government also plans to inaugurate and lay foundation stones for projects worth approximately Rs 662 crore during the celebration. Senior leaders, including Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar, cabinet ministers, MPs and legislators are expected to participate in the event, which will be held as a large public gathering.
The state-level convention, titled “Sadhana Samavesha,” is expected to draw more than two lakh participants to Tumakuru, with nearly 4,000 buses arranged to transport attendees from across Karnataka. The event will focus on highlighting government achievements, welfare schemes and large-scale public outreach as the administration completes its three-year term.
