Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to undertake a significant visit to Karnataka and Goa on November 28, 2025, engaging in a series of profound religious and cultural ceremonies that underscore India's rich spiritual heritage and philosophical traditions.

In Udupi, Karnataka, the Prime Minister will arrive at approximately 11:30 a.m. to pay obeisance at the revered Sri Krishna Matha, an institution founded over eight centuries ago by the esteemed philosopher Sri Madhvacharya, who established the Dvaita school of Vedanta. This sacred site, central to Hindu devotional practices, will host Modi as he participates in the grand Laksha Kantha Gita Parayana, a monumental recitation of the Bhagavad Gita involving 100,000 devotees, scholars, monks, and students from diverse backgrounds, symbolizing communal unity in spiritual discourse.

Further enhancing the sanctity of the visit, Modi will inaugurate the Suvarna Teertha Mantapa, a newly constructed pavilion positioned directly before the Krishna sanctum, designed to facilitate enhanced pilgrim access and ritual observances. He will also dedicate the Kanaka Kavacha, an ornate golden adornment for the Kanakana Kindi—a historic window through which the revered saint Kanakadasa is said to have received divine vision of Lord Krishna—thereby preserving and elevating this iconic element of the temple's legacy.

Shifting to Goa later in the day, at around 3:15 p.m., the Prime Minister will grace the Samsthan Gokarn Partagali Jeevottam Math in the serene riverside town of Partagali, South Goa, to partake in the auspicious ‘Sardha Panchashatamanotsava,’ commemorating the 550th anniversary of this pioneering Gowd Saraswat Brahmin Vaishnava Math, which adheres to the ancient Dvaita principles laid down by Jagadguru Madhvacharya in the 13th century.

During this segment, Modi will unveil a majestic 77-foot bronze statue of Lord Ram, a monumental tribute to the deity's eternal significance, and inaugurate the meticulously crafted ‘Ramayana Theme Park Garden,’ intended to educate and inspire visitors on the epic's timeless narratives. He will further release a commemorative postal stamp and coin to mark the milestone, before delivering an address to the assembled gathering, reinforcing the cultural and philosophical bonds that unite these venerable institutions.
