Azad played a key role in the Hindustan Socialist Republican Association (HSRA), an organisation formed to fight against British rule through revolutionary activities. He worked alongside several prominent freedom fighters, including Bhagat Singh, and helped organise efforts against the colonial government. His leadership, courage and determination earned him a lasting place in India’s history. Known for his strong resolve, Azad vowed that he would never be captured alive by British authorities.
