Actor Ranveer Singh set social media abuzz after videos of him dancing at the after-party of Dhurandhar 2 went viral. The celebrations followed a special screening of the film hosted in Mumbai on Thursday, attended by several prominent names from the industry. Clips circulating online show Singh energetically performing to popular tracks, delighting fans and fellow attendees alike.
The screening event saw the presence of director Aditya Dhar along with actors Yami Gautam, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, and Sara Ali Khan. Following the screening, the cast and guests moved to an after-party where the celebratory mood continued. Singh, known for his high-energy persona, quickly became the center of attention on the dance floor.
In one widely shared video, Singh is seen recreating the hook steps from the viral “Rehman Dakait entry song,” originally popularized by rapper Flipperachi and actor Akshaye Khanna. Fans at the venue captured the moment as Singh matched the choreography with enthusiasm, reviving the song’s popularity. Another clip shows him joining a group of actors, including Sara Ali Khan, Krystle D’Souza, and Ayesha Khan, dancing to the track “Naina Ladaiya.”

Meanwhile, Dhurandhar 2 has made a strong impact at the box office. According to trade estimates, the film recorded an opening day collection of approximately ₹102.55 crore, with the Hindi version contributing the majority at ₹99.10 crore. Regional versions also added to the total, with Telugu bringing in ₹2.12 crore and Tamil earning ₹1.16 crore, while Kannada and Malayalam releases were affected by technical delays.
The film had earlier generated significant buzz during its paid previews on December 18, earning around ₹43 crore despite facing cancellations in several regions. Addressing the disruptions, director Aditya Dhar issued a public apology, citing unforeseen technical issues that delayed shows in certain languages. He assured audiences that screenings would resume in phases as the issues were resolved.
Released in December 2025, Dhurandhar became one of the year’s highest-grossing films, setting expectations high for its sequel. The new installment brings back key cast members including Ranveer Singh, Arjun Rampal, R. Madhavan, and Sanjay Dutt, further fueling audience interest. Despite initial setbacks, the film’s strong opening and widespread social media engagement संकेत a promising run at the box office.
