Priyanka Chopra Jonas entertained audiences with her trademark wit during her appearance on The Great Indian Kapil Show Season 4. As the first guest of the new season, the global star shared a funny anecdote involving her husband Nick Jonas and his first experience tasting the popular Indian digestive candy, Hajmola.

During her conversation with host Kapil Sharma, Priyanka spoke about how cultural differences often create light-hearted moments in her marriage. Setting the scene, she asked the audience to imagine offering Hajmola to an American, hinting that the outcome would be anything but ordinary. Her comment immediately sparked laughter in the studio.

Priyanka went on to describe a special drawer in her home dedicated entirely to Indian snacks she grew up loving. The drawer, she said, is filled with treats like aampapad and Hajmola. She recalled warning Nick to stay away from it, joking that the contents might be “beyond his understanding,” a remark that only increased his curiosity.

Despite her playful warning, Nick eventually insisted on trying everything in the drawer. Priyanka revealed that she finally gave in and offered him Hajmola, expecting a surprised reaction but not quite what followed next. What Nick said after smelling it caught her completely off guard.

Quoting her husband, Priyanka said Nick’s immediate response was, “Why does this smell like farts?” The blunt reaction left Kapil Sharma, Priyanka, and the audience laughing uncontrollably, quickly becoming one of the standout moments of the episode.

Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas tied the knot in December 2018 in Jodhpur in a grand celebration featuring both Christian and Hindu ceremonies. The couple welcomed their daughter, Malti Marie Chopra Jonas, in January 2022, and often share such candid glimpses into their cross-cultural family life.
