Actor Celina Jaitly became emotional as her sons began a new school year, sharing a heartfelt message on social media amid her ongoing divorce proceedings with estranged husband Peter Haag. Celina, who is currently away from her children, addressed her sons Winston, Viraaj and Arthur in an Instagram post, expressing her sadness at being unable to be present for their first day of school and recalling several memories from their childhood.

In her message, Celina said she wished she could give her sons a morning hug, kiss them and hear them say goodbye before leaving for school. She recalled earlier years when she would cover their schoolbooks and prepare for their school routines, contrasting those ordinary family moments with her present circumstances. She also remembered making ladybug-themed Schultüten for them in Dubai and baking Schnecke and Laadi Pavs before school began in Austria.

Celina acknowledged that she may not be able to attend her sons’ school days for the remainder of 2026. She wrote that the situation had caused her deep emotional pain, while wishing her children kind friends, supportive teachers and a classroom environment where they would feel safe, encouraged and loved. Her message focused on the everyday experiences she feared missing, including hearing about their school activities and listening to the small details of their day after they returned home.

The actor also made it clear that she did not want her children to feel caught between their parents amid the separation. Celina told her sons that they would never have to choose between their mother and father and that they were free to love both parents. She said they should never feel guilty about loving either of them, adding that she would continue to support their relationship with their father regardless of the circumstances between the adults.

Celina and Peter Haag separated after 15 years of marriage, and their dispute has developed into legal proceedings involving allegations of domestic violence, property matters and access to their children. Celina has filed a case under the Domestic Violence Act in a Mumbai court and has alleged that she was denied access to the children after returning to India. Her legal team has also raised concerns regarding property transactions and financial control during the marriage.

Peter Haag has denied the allegations made by Celina, while his father has reportedly issued a legal notice accusing the actor of making defamatory statements. Against this backdrop, Celina’s latest message remained focused on her sons rather than the legal dispute, stressing that her love for them was unconditional and unaffected by distance. She ended by saying that while the children carried their schoolbags, she carried them in every heartbeat.
