Samsung Electronics launched its latest foldable lineup—Galaxy Z Fold7, Galaxy Z Flip7, and the new Galaxy Z Flip7 FE—at the Galaxy Unpacked 2025 event in Brooklyn, introducing cutting-edge AI, sleeker designs, and powerful hardware to redefine the premium smartphone experience.
The Galaxy Z Fold7, the seventh iteration of Samsung’s book-style foldable, is the thinnest and lightest yet, weighing just 215 grams—lighter than the Galaxy S25 Ultra—and measuring 8.9 mm when folded and 4.2 mm when unfolded. Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, it supports advanced on-device AI capabilities. Its 8-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X main display, 11% larger than its predecessor, enhances multitasking and content creation, while a 200MP wide-angle camera—the first in the Fold series—elevates photography. The device boasts up to 16GB RAM, 1TB storage, and a robust build with Advanced Armour Aluminium and Corning Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2 for superior durability.
The Galaxy Z Flip7 and its more affordable counterpart, the Z Flip7 FE, cater to compact foldable enthusiasts. The Flip7 features a 4.1-inch Super AMOLED FlexWindow cover screen with 2,600 nits brightness and a 6.9-inch main display with a 120Hz refresh rate, powered by the Exynos 2500 processor. It includes a 50MP main camera, 12GB RAM, and a 4,300mAh battery. The Z Flip7 FE, designed for affordability, offers a 6.7-inch main display, a 3.4-inch cover screen, an Exynos 2400 processor, 8GB RAM, and a 4,000mAh battery. Both models support Samsung DeX and advanced Galaxy AI features like real-time filters and Photo Assist.
