Rajasthan Royals first posted a strong total of 225 for six, powered by a fluent 90 from skipper Riyan Parag. Parag, under pressure earlier in the season, delivered a timely response with a controlled yet aggressive knock that anchored the innings after early setbacks, including quick dismissals of Vaibhav Sooryavanshi and Yashasvi Jaiswal.

Despite Parag’s effort, Delhi Capitals responded with exceptional intent in the powerplay. KL Rahul (75) and Pathum Nissanka (62) stitched together a 102-run opening stand in just 9.3 overs, setting the tone for a high-tempo chase.
