Zaggle Prepaid Ocean Services Limited has announced a partnership with Chennai Super Kings Cricket Limited to provide corporate expense card solutions to the franchise’s employees and associates. The agreement, disclosed in a regulatory filing dated February 26, 2026, marks Zaggle’s formal entry into the sports and entertainment sector. The collaboration positions the company to expand its offerings beyond traditional corporate clients into high-profile, brand-driven segments.
Under the one-year domestic client contract, Zaggle will deploy its corporate expense card platform to streamline spending, manage employee expenses, and facilitate payments for the IPL franchise’s internal operations. The solution is expected to enhance financial efficiency and operational transparency across the cricket team’s administrative and support functions. By integrating modern expense management tools, Chennai Super Kings aims to modernise its back-office financial processes.
The partnership adds a marquee sports brand to Zaggle’s growing portfolio of corporate clients. Analysts note that extending prepaid and expense management services to a prominent cricket franchise demonstrates Zaggle’s strategy of diversifying into lifestyle-orientated corporate segments. The move is expected to boost Zaggle’s visibility in the sports and entertainment ecosystem, potentially attracting further marquee clients in similar domains.

Zaggle has clarified that the transaction fully complies with regulatory requirements. The company stated that neither promoters nor promoter group entities hold any stake in Chennai Super Kings Cricket Limited, and the deal is not classified as a related-party transaction. The agreement was executed at arm’s length, with all necessary disclosures made according to SEBI’s Master Circular norms, reflecting adherence to corporate governance standards.
The announcement follows Zaggle’s strong third-quarter performance, which saw a net profit of Rs 36.3 crore, up 84.3% from Rs 19.7 crore in the same period last year. Revenue from operations rose 56% to Rs 525.5 crore, driven by increased transaction volumes and sustained demand across its prepaid card and employee benefits offerings. Total income reached Rs 534.2 crore, while expenses grew to Rs 484.5 crore due to higher redemption costs and gift card spending.
Investor sentiment remained positive, with shares of Zaggle closing at Rs 232.95 on the BSE, a 7.05% gain from the previous session. Market analysts suggest that the partnership with Chennai Super Kings could further strengthen the company’s brand presence, attract additional high-profile clients, and support continued growth in both the corporate expense management and prepaid solutions segments.
