A fire broke out at the Park Hyatt Hotel in Banjara Hills, Hyderabad, on Monday morning, April 14, causing alarm among guests and staff. The blaze, suspected to have been triggered by a short circuit, originated in the spa and sauna area on the first floor, sending thick smoke billowing through the luxury hotel.
The Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) IPL team, staying on the sixth floor, was safely evacuated, with no injuries or casualties reported.
Firefighters from Jubilee Hills and Secretariat fire stations responded promptly, containing the fire within two hours.
