India all-rounder Sayali Satghare made an immediate impact on her Test debut by producing a stunning delivery to dismiss Australia opener Georgia Voll on the opening day of the women’s pink-ball Test at the WACA Ground on Friday. The remarkable wicket came late on Day One of the match between India women's national cricket team and Australia women's national cricket team, marking a memorable start to Satghare’s career in the longest format of the game.

Satghare, one of four Indian players making their Test debut in the match, showcased her swing bowling skills during her opening spell. The Mumbai-born cricketer delivered a beautifully shaped ball that began well outside the off stump before swinging sharply inward. The delivery slipped through the gap between Voll’s bat and pad before crashing into the top of the leg stump, sending the Australian opener back to the pavilion and drawing praise for its precision and movement.

The wicket provided an early highlight in the contest after Alyssa Healy, captain of Australia, won the toss and chose to bowl first. Healy’s decision was aimed at exploiting the conditions with her pace attack against the Indian batting lineup.
