Brooklyn Peltz Beckham has broken his silence on the long-rumoured rift within the Beckham family, releasing a six-page statement on social media that levels a series of serious allegations against his parents, football icon David Beckham and fashion designer Victoria Beckham. The 26-year-old shared the statement through a sequence of Instagram Stories, declaring that his estrangement from his family is permanent and that there is “no scope of repair”.

In the statement, Brooklyn alleged that his parents consistently prioritised the public image of “Brand Beckham” over genuine family relationships. He claimed that family interactions were often driven by public relations considerations and social media optics rather than emotional connection. According to him, stepping away from the family environment brought a sense of peace and relief from long-standing anxiety.

One of the most striking claims relates to what Brooklyn described as pressure placed on him ahead of his 2022 wedding to Nicola Peltz Beckham. He alleged that his parents attempted to persuade, and even “bribe”, him to sign away legal rights to his own name. Brooklyn suggested this was intended to ensure that control over the “Beckham” brand remained solely with his parents, potentially affecting his future independence and that of his children.

Brooklyn also revisited the controversy surrounding his wedding, claiming that Victoria Beckham disrupted his planned first dance with Nicola by stepping in to dance with him instead. He described the incident as inappropriate and humiliating, saying it took place in front of hundreds of guests and contradicted the couple’s prior arrangements for the event.

Further allegations focused on what Brooklyn described as the mistreatment of Nicola Peltz by his family. He claimed that Victoria cancelled plans to design Nicola’s wedding dress at the last moment, causing significant stress. He also alleged that members of his family told him Nicola was “not blood” and therefore “not family” and said she was excluded from later family milestones, including David Beckham’s 50th birthday celebrations in 2025.

According to Brooklyn, the situation has deteriorated to the point where he has asked that any communication from his parents be conducted solely through legal representatives. He said this decision followed repeated violations of personal boundaries and was taken to protect his marriage and mental well-being. David and Victoria Beckham have not publicly responded to the claims at the time of publication.
