On July 15, 2025, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin launched the innovative 'Ungaludan Stalin' (Stalin with you) outreach program in Chidambaram, aimed at delivering government services directly to citizens and addressing grievances through special neighborhood camps. At the inaugural camp, Stalin personally handed over a hearing device to a differently-abled individual, medical insurance under the CM’s Comprehensive Health Insurance Scheme to a woman, and an electricity connection name change order to a resident—all within an hour of the program’s launch.
The chief minister actively engaged with the public, receiving petitions and inspecting petition registration and an exhibition showcasing government schemes, including those for agriculture and farmers' welfare. The event saw participation from key ministers like K N Nehru (Municipal Administration), EV Velu (Public Works), MRK Panneerselvam (Agriculture), Lok Sabha MP Thol Thirumavalavan, and senior officials, marking a significant step toward accessible governance.
