Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National President Nitin Nabin is set to begin a three-day organisational visit to Uttarakhand starting Thursday, with a focus on strengthening the party’s structure, improving coordination, and engaging with leaders at multiple levels of the organisation. The visit comes amid the party’s continued efforts to consolidate its grassroots network in the state ahead of future electoral and organisational priorities.
According to the planned schedule, Nabin will arrive in Dehradun on Thursday evening, where he is expected to be welcomed by party workers along the route to the state BJP office on Balbir Road. He will begin his engagements with a meeting of the state core committee, followed by discussions with members of the state Council of Ministers. Party leaders are expected to brief him on organisational performance, ongoing programmes, and coordination between the government and party units.
On Friday, the second day of his visit, Nabin is scheduled to meet Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami at his official residence. He will also visit the residence of former Chief Minister B.C. Khanduri to offer condolences to the family. Later in the day, he will chair a series of key organisational meetings in Dehradun involving MPs, MLAs, state office-bearers, and representatives from various party wings, including district and municipal-level leaders.

The meetings are expected to focus on strengthening the BJP’s organisational machinery across Uttarakhand, including coordination between district units, elected representatives, and grassroots workers. Senior party functionaries such as morcha presidents, general secretaries, district in-charges, and panchayat representatives will participate in discussions aimed at reviewing organisational effectiveness and improving outreach strategies at the booth level.
In the evening, Nabin will travel to Rishikesh to attend the Ganga Aarti at Parmarth Niketan and interact with saints and spiritual leaders at Swargashram. The engagement is part of his broader outreach programme that includes both organisational and cultural interactions during his state tour. Party leaders said such events help reinforce the BJP’s connect with spiritual institutions and public sentiment in the region.
On the final day of the visit, May 30, Nabin will offer prayers at Tapkeshwar Temple before interacting with booth-level workers and committee members in Dehradun. He is also scheduled to address an intellectuals’ meet on the theme “Building Viksit Bharat 2047: The Transformative Role of Higher Education” at Shivalik College of Engineering. Later, he will participate in a youth dialogue programme at the Chief Minister’s camp office, focusing on the role of young people in nation-building and development initiatives.
