In a pointed critique during the inauguration of the Rashtra Prerna Sthal on the 101st birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Prime Minister Narendra Modi asserted that India's progress cannot be credited solely to one family, implicitly targeting the Congress party's dynastic leadership. He emphasized that the BJP-led government has broken away from the practice of attributing all national achievements to a single lineage, instead recognizing contributions from diverse figures across the political spectrum.
Modi highlighted the NDA administration's efforts to honor notable leaders irrespective of their affiliations, citing the conferment of the Bharat Ratna on former Prime Minister P V Narasimha Rao and former President Pranab Mukherjee, as well as national awards to Samajwadi Party founder Mulayam Singh Yadav and Congress leader Tarun Gogoi. He contrasted this approach with what he described as the opposition's historical reluctance to acknowledge such figures, while underscoring the government's commitment to Dr B R Ambedkar's ideals through initiatives like the Panchteerthas and the abrogation of Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir.
The Prime Minister also paid tribute to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel's role in unifying India, noting that the Statue of Unity in Gujarat serves as a lasting symbol of his legacy, which he claimed had been undervalued in the past. Modi further remarked on the insecurities inherent in dynastic politics, suggesting that such systems often undermine contemporaries to preserve their own dominance.

Praising Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for delivering effective governance, Modi credited the double-engine BJP government with transforming the state's image from one plagued by law and order issues to a hub of development. He pointed to landmarks like the Ram Temple in Ayodhya and Kashi Vishwanath Dham as elements forging a new global identity for Uttar Pradesh, alongside advancements such as missile production in the Lucknow defense corridor.
The Rashtra Prerna Sthal, developed on a formerly neglected 30-acre site, features imposing 65-foot bronze statues of BJP stalwarts Syama Prasad Mookerjee, Deendayal Upadhyaya, and Atal Bihari Vajpayee, commemorating their enduring impact on India's political and national fabric. Chief Minister Adityanath echoed this sentiment, stating that Prime Minister Modi is advancing their vision toward a self-reliant and prosperous nation.
