Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Monday said that the National Democratic Alliance’s (NDA) electoral performance reflects the growing trust of people in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership and his broader vision of “Viksit Bharat.” He said the results from recent Assembly elections in states such as West Bengal and Assam underline a continuing national endorsement of the NDA’s governance model.
Naidu’s remarks were shared through the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) on social media platform X, where he described the NDA as a coalition aligned with public aspirations. He said the alliance represents the principle of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas,” adding that the latest mandate strengthens the idea of inclusive development. According to him, the election outcome signals renewed momentum toward the long-term goal of building a developed India.
The Chief Minister further said that the results demonstrate the public’s increasing confidence in the NDA’s governance and development-focused agenda. He noted that voters, particularly the younger generation, are prioritizing credibility, performance, and direct engagement with citizens over other political factors. Naidu added that this shift in voter expectations is clearly visible in the electoral outcomes being reported.

He also extended congratulations to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, BJP national leadership, and NDA workers for what he termed a “historic mandate.” He acknowledged the efforts of party cadres and alliance partners, stating that their consistent work at the grassroots level contributed to the electoral success across states where trends showed NDA gains.
Meanwhile, former Member of Parliament Vijaya Sai Reddy also commented on the political developments, stating that a BJP government in West Bengal would be in the national interest. He referred to issues such as border security and illegal infiltration, arguing for stricter enforcement policies, including a “detect-delete-deport” approach against illegal migrants. His remarks came amid broader political reactions to the election trends.
In a separate observation, Vijaya Sai Reddy also commented on Tamil actor Vijay’s political party, Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK), noting its debut in Tamil Nadu politics. He said the emergence of new regional political voices indicated a shift in southern politics, where voters are increasingly open to non-traditional and performance-driven alternatives to established parties, reflecting evolving political preferences in the region.
