Assam BJP president Dilip Saikia has accused the Congress and Left parties of misleading the nation with distorted interpretations of India’s history, civilization, and culture. Speaking at the release of the latest issue of the BJP’s monthly mouthpiece in Guwahati, Saikia emphasized that the BJP is committed to fostering an intellectual renaissance by presenting accurate accounts of India’s ancient heritage and cultural legacy.

“Intellectually, the Congress and Left forces, through distorted interpretations of the nation’s history, civilization, and culture, have long misguided the people of the country,” Saikia stated.

He contrasted this with the BJP’s efforts to promote “truthful interpretations of Bharat’s ancient and glorious literature and culture,” aiming to reshape public understanding of India’s past. The mouthpiece, now in its ninth year, serves as a platform to disseminate the party’s ideals and vision to the public, he added.

Saikia urged citizens to contribute to Assam’s positive developments for inclusion in the publication, which will also be accessible via the BJP Assam unit’s official website. The initiative reflects the party’s broader mission to counter historical narratives it deems inaccurate and to strengthen cultural awareness across the state and beyond.
