Daulal Vaishnaw, father of Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, passed away at AIIMS Jodhpur on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, at 11:52 AM, as confirmed by hospital authorities. Daulal, a former sarpanch from Jeevand Kalan village, Pali district, Rajasthan, was critically ill with age-related ailments and under treatment for several days.

Details of Passing: Despite intensive medical efforts, Daulal could not be saved. AIIMS Jodhpur expressed profound sorrow and extended condolences to the Vaishnaw family.

Context: Ashwini Vaishnaw, a Rajya Sabha MP from Odisha and former IAS officer, was in Bihar on Monday for railway project events but rushed to Jodhpur following reports of his father’s worsening condition.
