A devastating accident on the Jammu-Srinagar national highway claimed the lives of two police sub-inspectors and left another injured, an official reported. The incident occurred at Tengan in the Lasjan area of Srinagar, as the three officers were traveling from Srinagar to Jammu after completing their duties for the Amarnath Yatra pilgrimage.
The injured officers were rushed to a nearby hospital, where sub-inspectors Sachin Verma and Shubham were declared dead on arrival. The surviving officer, Mastan Singh, is receiving medical treatment.
