The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) on Tuesday released individual scorecards and cut-off marks for the Phase 1 examination of the RBI Grade B (Direct Recruitment – General) 2025 recruitment cycle. Candidates who appeared for the preliminary test conducted on October 18, 2025, can now access their section-wise and total marks along with the qualifying cut-offs on the official website, rbi.org.in.
The Phase 1 exam served as the first screening stage for 83 vacancies announced under the Grade B (General) cadre, part of a total of 120 posts across various streams. Successful candidates have automatically qualified for Phase 2, scheduled for December 6, 2025. The RBI has also published the category-wise and test-wise aggregate cut-off marks used to shortlist candidates for the main examination.

The next stage—Phase 2—will consist of three papers (Economic & Social Issues, English Writing, and Finance & Management) and carries significantly higher weightage in the final merit list. Shortlisted candidates will later be called for interviews at centres decided by the RBI, with details communicated through separate call letters. The recruitment process is being closely watched, as successful candidates will join one of India’s most prestigious central banking roles, offering long-term career growth and policy-level exposure.
