Former Lok Sabha Deputy Speaker and veteran tribal leader Karia Munda was admitted to Medica Hospital in Ranchi on Tuesday after a sudden dip in sugar levels and a spike in blood pressure, prompting urgent visits from top political leaders.
Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren and BJP state president Babulal Marandi arrived at the hospital on Wednesday to check on the 88-year-old leader's condition. Both leaders personally spoke with the attending doctors and extended their prayers for his recovery.
Soren, after the visit, took to social media to share that he had instructed doctors to ensure the best possible treatment. Marandi also expressed hope for Munda’s swift recovery.

Hospital authorities confirmed that Munda’s condition is now stable and that he is responding well to treatment.
