Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to inaugurate the India AI Impact Expo 2026 at 5 pm on February 16 at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi. The Expo will run until February 20 alongside the India AI Impact Summit and aims to position India as a global hub for artificial intelligence by demonstrating “AI in action,” where policy, innovation, and technology converge.
Spread across 10 arenas covering more than 70,000 square metres, the Expo will host over 300 curated exhibition pavilions and live demonstrations, structured around three thematic “chakras”: People, Planet, and Progress. Organisers emphasised that this design underscores India’s focus on inclusive growth, sustainability, and technological advancement.
More than 600 high-potential startups are expected to participate, many developing AI solutions with global applicability and population-scale impact. Numerous startups will showcase technologies that have already been deployed in real-world settings, highlighting the transformative potential of AI across industries.

The Expo will also feature thirteen country pavilions, reflecting international collaboration in the AI ecosystem. Participating nations include Australia, Japan, Russia, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Serbia, Estonia, Tajikistan, and a collective Africa pavilion, fostering cross-border innovation and partnerships.
Over 2.5 lakh visitors, including global delegates, are expected to attend the five-day event. Organisers have scheduled more than 500 sessions with over 3,250 speakers and panellists, focusing on the transformative impact of AI, emerging trends, and strategies to ensure that artificial intelligence benefits citizens worldwide.
