Prime Minister Narendra Modi will personally host a meticulously planned dinner for all 350-plus NDA Members of Parliament on Thursday evening at his official residence on Lok Kalyan Marg, New Delhi, in what is being described as the most significant show of coalition unity since the alliance’s resounding triumph in the recent Bihar Assembly elections.
Originally scheduled during the monsoon session of Parliament, the event was deferred due to devastating floods in Punjab. The rescheduled gathering will see nearly 54 large tables arranged across multiple halls, with each table deliberately designed to seat eight MPs from different NDA constituents alongside senior BJP parliamentarians and one Union Minister to ensure seamless cross-party bonding and candid exchange.
Senior Union Ministers have been assigned specific regional responsibilities to guarantee full attendance: Dharmendra Pradhan and BJP MP Sukanta Majumdar are coordinating with MPs from Odisha and West Bengal, Kiren Rijiju is overseeing the Northeastern contingent, and similar arrangements have been made for every state, reflecting the NDA’s emphasis on inclusive representation at the highest level.

Beyond the ceremonial dinner, the evening will function as a strategic war-room session where the Prime Minister is expected to personally visit each table, brief alliance partners on the government’s legislative roadmap, and seek direct feedback on public welfare priorities while reinforcing collective discipline for the ongoing Winter Session of Parliament.
Sources indicate that preliminary electoral planning for the crucial 2026 Assembly contests in West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, and Assam will also be discussed discreetly, allowing coalition partners to align campaign narratives, seat-sharing frameworks, and resource mobilisation well in advance of these pivotal battles that could reshape the NDA’s national dominance.
