Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday lauded Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar for their compelling Lok Sabha speeches on Operation Sindoor, a targeted anti-terror mission in Pakistan. In a post on X, Modi called Singh’s speech “excellent,” highlighting the operation’s success and the bravery of India’s armed forces.
“Rajnath Singh Ji gave an insightful perspective on India’s security apparatus,” Modi wrote. He also praised Jaishankar’s “outstanding” address, which underscored global support for India’s stance against terrorism post the Pahalgam attack. Singh, initiating the Lok Sabha debate, declared India’s unwavering resolve to eradicate terrorism, stating that Operation Sindoor, currently paused after achieving its objectives, could resume if Pakistan provokes further.
