The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has filed a supplementary chargesheet against three more accused in connection with the November 10, 2025, car bomb blast near Delhi's Red Fort that claimed 11 lives. According to officials, the latest chargesheet names Zameer Ahmad Ahanger, Tufail Ahmad Bhat and absconding accused Muzafar Ahmad, also known by the aliases Faraz and Zafar. All three are residents of Jammu and Kashmir. With the latest filing, the total number of people chargesheeted in the case has risen to 13.
The NIA said Muzafar Ahmad, a paediatrician who remains absconding, is a founding member of AGuH Interim, which the agency has described as an offshoot of Al-Qaeda. Investigators have alleged that he played a key role in the conspiracy behind the attack. The supplementary chargesheet forms part of the agency's continuing investigation into the blast, which took place near one of the country's most prominent historical landmarks and resulted in multiple fatalities and injuries.
Among those previously chargesheeted is the alleged prime accused, Dr Umar Un Nabi, who investigators said was driving the vehicle that exploded near the Red Fort. He died in the explosion. The NIA has continued to investigate the wider network allegedly involved in planning, facilitating and supporting the attack, leading to the identification of additional accused persons and the filing of further charges.
