The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) is scheduled to announce the final seat allotment result for Round 1 of NEET PG Counselling 2026 on October 24, following the release of the provisional allotment list a day earlier. Candidates who participated in the postgraduate medical counselling process can check the provisional result on the official website, mcc.nic.in. The final result will determine the seats allotted to candidates under the applicable counselling categories.
In a notice issued on October 23, MCC informed candidates that the provisional allotment list was available and invited them to report discrepancies through the Candidates Grievances and Query Redressal System on the candidate login portal. The deadline for submitting grievances was 11.30 am on October 24. The committee is expected to review the submissions before publishing the final allotment result.
MCC clarified that the provisional list is indicative and may change after the grievance review process. It also stated that candidates cannot claim a right to a seat on the basis of the provisional allotment alone. Candidates have been advised not to approach their allotted colleges or institutions until the final result is declared. The committee's instructions are intended to ensure that candidates act on confirmed allotment details rather than preliminary information.
