Aam Aadmi Party’s national convener Arvind Kejriwal and Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann are gearing up for a high-voltage two-day visit to Gujarat on July 23-24, promising to stir up the political scene ahead of crucial upcoming polls.
The dynamic duo will headline the ‘Kisan-Pashupalak Mahapanchayat’ in Modasa, Aravalli district, taking a fierce stand for farmers and cattle-breeders who have been battling police crackdowns and alleged corruption in the dairy sector. They’ll also rally public support for jailed AAP MLA Chaitar Vasava, a rising tribal leader who AAP claims is being targeted for speaking out.
Kejriwal is expected to deliver a fiery speech condemning the police action against dairy farmers at Sabar Dairy, where protests recently turned violent, and demanding justice, compensation, and withdrawal of what the party calls “false cases.”
