Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke on Wednesday announced that members of his organisation will travel to Jharkhand to support job aspirants protesting against alleged irregularities in recruitment examinations. Dipke said the group would stand with the protesters in Ranchi and support their demands as part of its broader effort to seek institutional accountability.

Speaking to reporters in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar ahead of a CJP core team meeting, Dipke said the organisation would function as a "pressure group" rather than immediately enter electoral politics. He argued that growing public dissatisfaction with institutions such as the judiciary, politics, media and the Election Commission had created a need for a platform that could push for greater accountability.

The announcement comes amid an ongoing protest by hundreds of students at Ranchi's Jaipal Singh Munda Stadium. The protesters have been demanding an independent investigation into alleged irregularities in the Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) and other recruitment examinations. They have sought an inquiry by a panel of retired High Court judges from outside the state.

Dipke said the movement led by CJP had received support from across the country and had expanded beyond education-related concerns. According to him, the protests reflected wider public concerns over transparency and accountability in important institutions. He added that CJP members were already present in the protest areas and would visit Jharkhand if required.

Responding to questions about whether CJP would enter politics, Dipke said the organisation was currently focused on building a public pressure movement. He remarked that India needed stronger citizen-led platforms to raise concerns and demand answers from institutions rather than immediately forming a political party.

CJP recently concluded its GenZ-led protests at Delhi's Jantar Mantar on July 25, where student activists raised concerns over alleged competitive examination paper leaks. The demonstrations also saw participation from climate activist Sonam Wangchuk during his 26-day hunger strike. Dipke said further details about CJP's future plans and decisions from the core team meeting would be shared at a press conference.
