Torrential rains battered Hyderabad on Monday, triggering widespread waterlogging and severe traffic disruptions across the city. Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy ordered officials to remain on high alert as the downpour overwhelmed roads and slowed commuter movement.
According to the Telangana Development and Planning Society, CMTC premises in Banjara Hills recorded the highest rainfall at 74.5 mm, followed by Ahmed Nagar at 53.3 mm and Srinagarcolony at 50.8 mm between 8:30 AM and 4:00 PM.
