Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini has announced that the state government will develop Government Colleges as Model Sanskriti Colleges as part of its broader vision to transform Haryana into a leading destination for higher education. Speaking about the government's education agenda, the Chief Minister said the initiative reflects the state's commitment to strengthening public higher education institutions and creating a more inclusive learning environment. According to Saini, the government wants every student, irrespective of their location, to have access to quality college education without having to migrate to other cities for better opportunities.
The proposed Model Sanskriti Colleges are expected to focus on upgrading infrastructure, improving teaching standards and enhancing the overall academic ecosystem. While detailed implementation plans are yet to be announced, the initiative is intended to provide students with better classrooms, laboratories, libraries, digital learning resources and other facilities that support modern higher education.
