Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini announced a rigorous campaign to identify and deport illegal Bangladeshi immigrants from the state, emphasizing a zero-tolerance stance on national security threats. In a post on X, Saini shared a video showcasing the deportation process, with authorities handing over identified immigrants to the Border Security Force (BSF) at the West Bengal-Bangladesh border for repatriation.
“No illegal Bangladeshi infiltrator will be allowed to remain in Haryana,” Saini declared, vowing strict action against any threats to India’s unity and sovereignty. The initiative follows a recent drive in Gurugram, where eight Bangladeshi nationals were detained as part of ongoing efforts to curb illegal immigration.
The campaign, intensified since Operation Sindoor began in May, has seen over 80 individuals deported from Haryana alone, with biometric data collection aiding identification. Saini criticized West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee for allegedly sympathizing with infiltrators, accusing her of compromising national security for political gain. Banerjee countered, claiming BJP-ruled states are targeting Bengali-speaking Indian citizens, labeling it “linguistic terror.”
