The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) successfully test-fired the UAV-Launched Precision Guided Missile (ULPGM-V3) at the National Open Air Range (NOAR) in Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh, on Friday.
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh hailed the trial as a “major boost” to India’s defence capabilities, announced via a social media post at 10:30 AM IST.
The missile, launched from a drone, demonstrated pinpoint accuracy, enhancing India’s indigenous strike technology. The test strengthens DRDO’s ongoing efforts to develop advanced, cost-effective munitions for modern warfare.
