The ruling Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) declared on July 28, 2025, that Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin’s leadership will usher in a “Dravidian Model 2.0 regime” following a decisive victory in the 2026 Assembly elections. In a Murasoli editorial penned by DMK literary wing deputy secretary Sowmiyan Vaithiyanathan, the party dismissed media speculations, emphasizing Stalin’s five-pronged, people-centric approach as the foundation for public trust.
The Oraniyil Tamil Nadu campaign promotes welfare schemes and boosts DMK membership, while the Ungaludan Stalin initiative delivers government services through neighborhood camps. Stalin’s district tours engage farmers and voluntary groups, addressing grievances directly, complemented by roadshows and personal interactions. At party headquarters, he rallies cadres with the slogan “Udanpirappe va,” while Deputy CM Udhayanidhi Stalin accelerates welfare implementation through district reviews.
The DMK credits these efforts for fostering peace and raising per capita income across Tamil Nadu households. With unwavering public faith in Stalin, the party is confident of a landslide win, paving the way for an enhanced Dravidian Model 2.0, focused on equitable growth and governance, led by the Chief Minister.
