On August 8, 2025, school students from Delhi and nearby cities filled an Indian Air Force (IAF) station in New Delhi with warmth and gratitude, tying colorful rakhis to air warriors in a heartfelt celebration ahead of Raksha Bandhan. The event, marked by joy and camaraderie, saw young students expressing appreciation for the nation’s guardians through this traditional gesture symbolizing protection and familial bonds.

Air Chief Marshal A.P. Singh, Chief of the Air Staff, joined the festivities, engaging warmly with the children and reinforcing the connection between the armed forces and the younger generation.
