Five patients injured in the recent hotel fire in Delhi's Malviya Nagar have been successfully taken off ventilator support and are showing signs of recovery, according to Max Hospital's Saket complex. Hospital authorities said the patients are currently stable and responding positively to treatment. However, one patient remains in critical condition and continues to be on life support.
The update comes as medical teams continue to monitor and treat those affected by the fire incident, which resulted in multiple casualties and injuries. A total of 15 patients are currently admitted to the hospital, including 13 international patients who were impacted by the blaze. Doctors are providing round-the-clock care to ensure the best possible outcomes for those undergoing treatment.
Hospital officials stated that the five patients removed from ventilator support have demonstrated significant improvement in their respiratory condition.
