A SpiceJet flight bound for Mumbai turned chaotic on Monday when two passengers attempted to storm the cockpit as the plane was taxiing at Delhi airport. The disruptive duo, aboard flight SG 9282, ignored repeated pleas from the cabin crew, fellow passengers, and the captain to return to their seats, causing a major disturbance.
SpiceJet promptly returned the aircraft to the bay, where the unruly passengers were offloaded and handed over to the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF). The incident delayed the flight, originally set to depart at 12:30 pm, until 7:21 pm.
In a statement, SpiceJet confirmed the incident, emphasizing their commitment to passenger safety and compliance with aviation protocols. Authorities are investigating the motives behind the passengers’ reckless actions.
