The floods, triggered by heavy rainfall swelling the Sutlej, Beas, and Ravi rivers, have claimed 30 lives and impacted over 3.5 lakh people, according to state authorities. From August 1 to September 2, the deluge has destroyed homes, crops, and livestock across Punjab, leaving countless families in need.
Shah Rukh Khan shared an emotional message: X: “My heart aches for Punjab’s flood victims. Sending prayers and strength… Punjab’s spirit is unbreakable. May God bless them.” Karan Johar echoed this on Instagram, urging followers to share verified information and assist in any way possible.
