A 20-year-old man dressed as Spider-Man has earned widespread praise after helping a wheelchair user safely cross a busy six-lane road in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Christopher Hellenthal, who was wearing the superhero costume after attending a themed event at a local trampoline park where he works, stopped his vehicle and rushed to assist the man after noticing he was struggling to cross the intersection before the traffic lights changed.
Traffic camera footage captured the incident, showing the wheelchair user slowly making his way across the road while vehicles remained stopped at a red light. Seeing the limited time available before traffic resumed, Hellenthal quickly ran from his car, took hold of the wheelchair and pushed the man safely across the intersection. During the rescue, he reassured the individual by saying, "I got you," before helping him reach the other side.
