Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu returned from a high-impact four-day Singapore tour late Wednesday, heralding a new era in India-Singapore relations. Naidu, who landed in Hyderabad at 10:30 pm and reached Vijayawada, was greeted at Gannavaram Airport by Chief Secretary K Vijayanand, DGP Harish Kumar Gupta, ministers, and other leaders.
The visit saw Naidu engage in over 27 meetings with Singapore President Tharman, industry giants, and the Indian diaspora, pitching Andhra Pradesh as a prime investment destination. He invited global stakeholders to the Global Investors Summit in Visakhapatnam this November, emphasizing the state’s investor-friendly policies.
Accompanied by IT Minister Nara Lokesh, Naidu held discussions on AI, fintech, ports, and urban development. Lokesh, who departed Singapore Thursday morning, conducted 35 engagements, including 19 one-on-one meetings with companies like Google, Microsoft, Airbus, and CapitaLand, and four site visits. Addressing the Telugu diaspora, Lokesh urged NRIs to champion “Brand Andhra,” promising robust government support from MoU to project execution.

Naidu and Lokesh showcased Andhra’s business-friendly reforms, attractive incentives, and seamless governance, positioning the state as a global investment hub. “This tour has renewed our ties with Singapore and highlighted Andhra Pradesh’s vast potential,” Naidu posted on X.
