A Mumbai-bound Air India Express flight carrying approximately 160 passengers was forced to abort takeoff at Delhi airport on Wednesday evening due to a technical malfunction. The pilot halted the departure after detecting a glitch in the cockpit screens displaying critical speed parameters, prioritizing passenger safety.
An Air India Express spokesperson confirmed the crew’s decision to reject takeoff stemmed from a minor technical issue. All passengers were safely deboarded and accommodated on an alternative aircraft, which later departed for Mumbai.
The airline expressed regret for the inconvenience, emphasizing that safety remains their top priority in all operations.
