The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) will begin the evaluation of Class 10 and 12 answer sheets from Wednesday, March 18, following the conclusion of the board examinations on March 12. Over 1.5 lakh examiners have been assigned to assess the scripts of nearly 52 lakh students who appeared across the state.
The evaluation process is expected to be completed by March 31, with teachers checking answer sheets under CCTV surveillance to ensure transparency and fairness. Based on previous years’ trends, the UP Board is likely to announce the Class 10 and 12 results in April. Students can access their results on the official website, upresults.nic.in, and are advised to keep their roll numbers and school details ready to avoid delays or confusion.
Given the anticipated heavy traffic on the official portal, students may experience slow loading times. The board recommends patience and suggests using alternative result portals if needed. Once downloaded, it is important to carefully verify all details on the mark sheet, including personal information and subject-wise scores.

To pass, students must secure at least 33 per cent marks in each subject, including theory and practical components where applicable. Those who do not meet the minimum passing criteria will have the opportunity to appear for compartment examinations, as per UPMSP guidelines.
The board’s evaluation and result process play a crucial role in ensuring timely and accurate reporting of students’ academic performance. With millions of students awaiting their results, the smooth functioning of the evaluation system and prompt result publication remain a priority for the UPMSP.
Students and parents are advised to stay informed through official announcements and follow instructions carefully to access results efficiently once declared.
