Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu made a compelling call to Singapore-based entrepreneurs, urging them to invest in his state’s ambitious development projects during the "Andhra Pradesh – Singapore Business Forum and Partnership Summit Roadshow" on Monday. Addressing over 500 investors, Naidu showcased opportunities in infrastructure, including ports, airports, and the innovative Quantum Valley in Amaravati.
Naidu emphasized Andhra Pradesh’s pivotal role in India’s green energy goals, pledging 160 GW toward the national target of 500 GW by 2030. He highlighted major upcoming projects, such as an ArcelorMittal steel plant and a Google operations center in Visakhapatnam, alongside industrial corridors led by Indian giants like the Tata Group’s Ratan Tata Innovation Hub.
“India is a safe and promising investment destination,” Naidu declared, inviting Singapore’s business community to support Andhra’s growth in deep tech, semiconductors, green hydrogen, logistics, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, and tourism.

Omar Shazad, Group CEO of Meinhardt, a Singapore-based engineering firm with over 100 projects in India, praised Naidu’s vision. “The chief minister’s presentation was incredibly inspiring,” Shazad told PTI, noting vast opportunities for Singapore businesses in infrastructure, real estate, industrial projects, and data centers.
Naidu’s ambitious plans for Amaravati, envisioned as a futuristic city modeled on Singapore’s urban and industrial framework, were a focal point. The chief minister’s roadmap aims to position Andhra Pradesh as a hub for innovation and sustainable development, drawing parallels to Singapore’s globally admired growth model.
