Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu commenced a three-day official visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on Wednesday to attract significant investments and invite global industrialists to the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Partnership Summit, scheduled for November 14-15 in Visakhapatnam. Departing from Hyderabad after traveling from Amaravati, Naidu’s mission aims to position Andhra Pradesh as a premier destination for international business, focusing on critical sectors such as infrastructure, information technology, logistics, and port development.
Accompanied by key officials, including Minister for Industries and Commerce T.G. Bharat, Minister for Investment and Infrastructure Gottipati Ravi Kumar, and senior state representatives, Naidu’s visit is a strategic effort to bolster investor confidence following recent elections. This UAE engagement builds on prior international outreach, including Naidu’s July 2025 Singapore visit, his Davos engagements, IT Minister Nara Lokesh’s London roadshow, and Municipal Minister P. Narayana’s South Korea trip, all aimed at showcasing Andhra Pradesh’s investment potential.
On the first day in Dubai, Naidu will hold discussions with prominent industry leaders. Meetings with PNC Menon, Chairman of Sobha Group, will focus on infrastructure and IT park development. Talks with Sharafuddin Sharaf of Sharaf Group will address logistics and warehousing advancements, while discussions with Ramesh Ramakrishna of Transworld Group will explore port development and maritime solutions, vital for Andhra Pradesh’s coastal economy. The day concludes with a roadshow promoting the CII Partnership Summit and a visit to the Dubai Future Museum to explore innovative technologies applicable to state initiatives.

On October 23, Naidu’s schedule includes a visit to the BAPS Hindu Mandir in Abu Dhabi alongside UAE Minister of Investments Al Suwaidi, combining cultural diplomacy with strategic discussions. A business roundtable will follow, featuring engagements with Nasser Al Muhairi of ADNOC on energy partnerships, Mansoor Al Mansoori of G42 International on artificial intelligence and technology collaborations, Yusuf Ali of Lulu Group on retail and agribusiness opportunities, Salmeen Alameri of Agthia Group on food processing ventures, and Binance’s Chief Marketing Officer Rachel on fintech prospects.
The final day, October 24, includes a tour of Yas Island’s major attractions—Ferrari World, Yas Waterworld, Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi, and SeaWorld—to study the UAE’s tourism and hospitality model, which could inform Andhra Pradesh’s own tourism strategies. Naidu will also hold high-level meetings with UAE Minister for Foreign Trade Thani Bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi and Minister of Economy Abdulla Bin Touq Al Marri to strengthen bilateral economic ties. The visit concludes with participation in the Emirates Business Roundtable and a Telugu Diaspora event organized by the Andhra Pradesh Non-Resident Telugu Society (APNRTS) at Le Meridien, recognizing the diaspora’s contributions to global networks and remittances.
This UAE visit is a critical component of Andhra Pradesh’s strategy to promote its investor-friendly policies, including streamlined regulatory processes and infrastructure developments like the planned Amaravati capital city. With the CII Partnership Summit poised to attract global policymakers and business leaders, Naidu’s engagements in the UAE could secure transformative investments, fostering economic growth and job creation in Andhra Pradesh.
