Israeli Ambassador to India Reuven Azar has praised the action film Dhurandhar for its strong anti-terror narrative, saying the franchise goes beyond entertainment by highlighting the importance of robust institutions, intelligence systems and technology in combating organised terrorism. The diplomat shared his views during an interaction with NDTV, describing the second installment as even more impactful than the first.

Azar said he had watched both films in the franchise and was particularly impressed by the sequel's portrayal of India's efforts to dismantle organised terror networks. According to him, the movie effectively captures the challenges posed by such groups while showcasing the coordinated strategies required to counter them.

"I like the second even more," Azar said, noting that the film presents a compelling depiction of how governments and security agencies can work together to neutralise terrorist threats. He added that the storyline successfully combines action with a broader message about national security and institutional resilience.
