A fire broke out at a residential building in the Ghansoli area of Navi Mumbai on Saturday evening, leaving four people injured and triggering a large-scale rescue operation. The blaze erupted at Kuber Apartment, located in Sector 21, causing panic among residents and prompting an immediate response from emergency services.
According to officials from the Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation, the Regional Disaster Management Cell received information about the incident at around 8:51 pm. Following the alert, firefighters, rescue teams, and civic officials rushed to the residential complex to assess the situation and begin evacuation efforts.
Several fire tenders from nearby stations, including Airoli, Koparkhairane, Vashi, and other parts of Navi Mumbai, were deployed to the site. Firefighters worked for hours to contain the flames and prevent them from spreading to adjacent flats and structures within the apartment complex.

Officials said that ten residents were successfully rescued from the building during the operation. Four people sustained injuries in the incident and were provided medical treatment. Authorities have not yet released detailed information regarding the nature or severity of the injuries suffered by the victims.
The presence of multiple emergency teams helped bring the situation under control without any reported fatalities. Rescue personnel also conducted thorough searches of the building to ensure that no residents remained trapped inside after the fire was extinguished.
The exact cause of the blaze is yet to be determined. Fire department officials and civic authorities have launched an investigation to identify how the fire started and to assess the extent of damage caused to the building. Residents have been advised to remain cautious and follow safety instructions as officials continue their inspection of the site.
