The 'Indiana Jones' star Harrison Ford drops out as presenter at 2025 Oscars after he was diagnosed with shingles. Oscars 2025 event will be held on March 2, 2025, while in India it can be watched on March 3, 2025, at 5:30 a.m. in JioHotstar and TV chennel Star Movies.
Harrison Ford is a celebrated Hollywood actor for his great films such as Indiana Jones and its sequels Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom (1984) and Indiana Jones and the Lost Arc (1984) and Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989). All of them were produced by Lucas and directed by Steven Spielberg. They featured Ford as a swashbuckling 1930s action hero whose larger-than-life qualities were tempered with a charming vulnerability.
He achieved real success as the opportunistic Han Solo in Lucas’s Star Wars (1977). The space-fantasy film became one of the highest-grossing motion pictures of all time. According to reports, the 82-year-old actor attended the Screen Actors Guild Awards 2025 before his shingles diagnosis. However, there is no any official statement on this yet. Shingles is a painful rash caused by the varicella-zoster virus (VZV). It's the same virus that causes chickenpox.
